BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Ridge scored 10 goals in the first half en route to a 16-6 girls lacrosse victory in the first round of the North Jersey, Group 4 state tournament on Wednesday.

Mena Loescher scored five goals and distributed two assists, and Cassidy McKenna contributed four goals and one assist for Ridge (12-5).

Kerry Cassidy and Annabelle Pesarchick each netted two goals for the Red Devils, owners of a 10-1 lead at the half. Katie Scherzer made 13 saves on goal for Ridge.
