Girls Soccer: Ridge and Franklin Play to 1-1 Tie

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Ridge girls soccer team played Franklin to a 1-1 tie on Tuesday afternoon.

Junior forward Sammy Weyrauch scored a goal in the first half with an assist from Amanda Cox to give the Red Devils (2-1-1) a 1-0 lead.

Franklin (1-3-1) came back on a second-half goal by Kimmy Chavkin. That was one of only three shots on goal for Franklin. Ridge attempted eight shots.

Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts Summer Camp Open House Friday, June 1

BERKELEY HEIGHTS—Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts (WIPA) will host a Summer Open House on Friday, June 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will be held at the Performing Arts School located at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The open house will feature demo classes centered around summer camp offerings and light refreshments will be served.
