MARTINSVILLE, NJ - Ridge scored all of its goals in the second half and ended a five-game losing streak with a 3-1 girls soccer victory over Toms River North on Sunday.

Bailey Aaron and Amanda Krest each finished with one goal and one assist for Ridge (2-5). Heather Cortese scored a goal and Caroline McEnroe provided an assist for the Red Devils.

Ally Lindsey made five saves in the victory, helping Ridge contribute to the Skyland Conference's overall 6-1 record Sunday in "The Mountains vs. The Seas" challenge on the campus of The Pingry School.

Fourteen teams from the top two conferences in the state, the Skyland and Shore conferences competed in seven games throughout the day. The event—for which the 14 participating teams were asked to raise at least $2,000 each—raised funds for Go4TheGoal, a New Jersey non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of children with cancer.
