Help Mary Poppins to Fly!

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Trilogy Repertory Company of Basking Ridge is looking for some folks to help Mary Poppins fly during a performance of the classic to be staged this July at Pleasant Valley Park in Bernards Township.

Flying training will be provided for those who are interested.

"Mary Poppins" is scheduled to be presented in cooperation with the Bernards Townshp Department of Parks and Recreation at the park's outdoors amphitheater for three weekends in July, beginning on July 10. Performance dates are scheduled for July 10-11, July 16, 17, and 18, and July 23, 24 and 25.

Performances are free, but donations are appreciated.

The flying crew must be available for tech week rehearsals as well. 

Volunteer service hours available and the theater company says it really needs help.

Trilogy's second planned Play in the Park is Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice," that will be staged in cooperation with the Troupe of Friends in Westfield. Production dates will be Aug. 27, 28, 29 at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge and Sept. 3, 4, 5 at Mindowaskin Park in Westfield. Rehearsals will be in June, July and late August. Vacations will be considered and worked around.

The thespians say they look forward to hearing from volunteers.
