BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Keeping Babies Safe (KBS) of Warren, a national, non-profit organization that provides safe cribs to needy families and a leader in providing education, assistance, advocacy and leadership in the development of safer baby products and practices, held its annual 5K run/walk at Harry Dunham Park in Basking Ridge, NJ on Sunday, October 30.
Hundreds of runners, walkers and other supporters enjoyed a beautiful day of family fun and activities for all ages. A sponsor of KBS, Newton Baby, an advocate of safe sleep practices which offers crib mattresses, joined in on the day of fun and awareness.
Proceeds from the event will be used to provide new cribs and mattresses for families who need them. Funds will be used to enhance the organization’s national campaign to promote safe sleep practices and to ban any dangerous sleep products, such as supplemental mattresses, from being sold on the market.
