BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Ridge scored two goals in the third period to close out a 5-3 ice hockey victory over Red Bank Catholic Friday night at Bridgewater Sports Arena.

Jack Mandala's goal with 1:55 left in the third period gave the Red Devils a 4-3 lead. Mandala then assisted Alex Konovalov on a goal just 49 seconds later to give Ridge a 5-3 lead. It was Konovalov's second goal of the game. He had scored the first goal of the game in the opening period.

Liam Tormey had given Ridge a 2-1 lead on a goal assisted by Dan Knightly in the second period. Luke Rich then scored with assists from Brian Breslow and Spencer Charleson with 9:59 left in the second period as the Red Devils went ahead, 3-1. But RBC (6-11-3) closed out the middle period with two goals to forge a 3-3 deadlock heading into the final frame.

Ridge (15-5-1) outshot Red Bank Catholic, 50-17.
