BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Ridge ice hockey team posted a 6-0 shutout over Bernards on Friday night to extend its unbeaten streak to seven games.

Liam Tormey scored three goals for Ridge (6-1-1), which overwhelmed Bernards with 42 shots. Connor Villa scored in the first period for the Red Devils, who added three goals in the second period.

Ted Kapp's goal with 9:51 left in the second period gave Ridge a 2-0 lead. Kapp and Dan Knightly assisted Tormey on his first goal to give Ridge a 3-0 lead. John Vilade then scored on a power play with 2;43 to go in the second period.

Kapp finished with a goal and two assists. Spencer Charleson contributed two assists.
