FLEMINGTON, NJ - The Ridge ice hockey team won its second game in as many nights, and avenged an early-season loss in the process, with a 3-0 victory over Hunterdon Central on Saturday.

After a scoreless first period, Ridge (9-2-1) got on the board when Luke Rich scored on a short-handed goal with 8:25 left in the second period with an assist from Brian Breslow. Connor Villa gave Ridge a 2-0 lead with an assist from John Vilade with 2:58 showing in the third period.

Vilade scored on an empty-netter in the game's final minute to put a cap on the scoring. Vilade leads Ridge with nine goals this winter. Hunterdon Central (6-4-2) had defeated Ridge in the first game of the season.
