SOMERSET, NJ - Jack Mandala's second goal of the game, with 6.4 seconds left, gave Ridge a 2-1 ice hockey victory in the semifinal round of the Skyland Conference Tournament at Protec Ponds Thursday night.

Connor Villa and Brett Carey assisted Mandala on his game-winner, which send top-seeded Ridge (18-5-1) into the final against Hunterdon Central Saturday at 7 p.m. at Protec Ponds.

Pingry scored first with 5:19 left in the first period. Ridge tied it up just over three minutes later when Mandala broke up the middle with a feed from Carey and slipped one past the Pingry goalie for a short-handed goal.

Chris Ambrozy made 19 saves to preserve the victory for the Red Devils. Ridge split two regular season games with Hunterdon Central.
