BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Weather permitting, the following updates will apply today, Tuesday, August 29:

 

Debra Lane will be closed for paving on Tuesday, August 29 from 7:00am – 5:00 pm.  Paving will begin at the cul-de-sac and proceed toward Gerard Avenue.  All on-street parking is prohibited.  The road will be closed and access restricted.  A tar-like coating will be applied before paving; this can damage your car.  Please make alternate parking arrangements and avoid driving on the street.  All restoration will be completed after paving.

Asphalt base repairs will be constructed on Gerard Avenue on Tuesday, August 29 from 7:00am – 11:00am.  Additional areas, marked with white paint, will be milled and paved.  The road will be closed and access restricted.  Driveway access may be affected at driveways with white paint marks in the street.  Please make alternate parking arrangements.  Drivers should exercise caution while traveling through the area.  Paving is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, weather permitting.  Additional notice will follow.

Infrastructure repairs, including storm sewer, sidewalk, curb, and driveway repairs will continue on Tuesday, August 29, from 7:00am – 3:30pm on Atlas Road, Wharton Way, and Gold Boulevard. Access will be affected at driveways ONLY on Atlas Road that have white paint marks on the sidewalk and/or street. Crews will be working their way from Wharton Way towards the cul-de-sac. Please make alternate parking arrangements. Access may be limited at times. Drivers should exercise caution while traveling through the area. Additional notices will follow.
