K-4 Boys Invited to Hooked on Scouting on Monday


BASKING RIDGE, NJ- Parents of boys in kindergarten through fourth grade not currently in Scouting are invited to attend the “Hooked on Scouting” evening on Monday, June 13, Southard Park, North Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge.  

Have fun fishing at the pond, learn about the fun things boys do in Cub Scouts, and get information on how to register your son with a local Cub Scout Pack. Bring your fishing gear, bait will be provided. 

The Cub Scout program offers age appropriate character building programs.

Scouting develops strong values in each boy.  Scouting’s goal is to nurture and honor home, school, and faith values by emphasizing the Scout Oath and Law through fun adventures such as camping, hiking, fishing, community service projects, life skills learning activities, and much more!

Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts Summer Camp Open House Friday, June 1

BERKELEY HEIGHTS—Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts (WIPA) will host a Summer Open House on Friday, June 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will be held at the Performing Arts School located at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The open house will feature demo classes centered around summer camp offerings and light refreshments will be served.
