SOMERSET, NJ - Senior forward Max Mahoney had a record-setting night to help keep the Ridge boys basketball team on a roll.

Mahoney scored 40 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, blocked five shots and passed for four assists as Ridge (13-5) rallied for a 60-49 victory over Rutgers Prep on Tuesday. Mahoney's 40 points broke the school record for scoring in a single game.

Rutgers Prep (10-10) led, 27-24, before the Red Devils rallied with a 21-4 spree in the third quarter to take a 14-point lead. Aidan Murphy finished with 10 points for Ridge, which has won four games in a row.
