HOLMDEL, NJ -- Senior Manon Stephen, who signed her letter of intent Wednesday to attend Richmond University, finished third individually to lead the Ridge girls cross-country team to a fourth-place finish in Group 4 in the NJSIAA Group Championships on Saturday.

Stephen ran the 5,000-meter race in 18:50 to finish third in a field of 146 runners in the Group 4 race. Ridge's team score of 128 trailed only first-place North Hunterdon (41), Ridgewood (76) and Kingsway (109).

Ridge runners Katelyn King, who was 21st with a time of 19:41, and Grace LaCapra, who was 24th with a time of 19:54, each placed in the top 25.

The rest of the Ridge runners contributing to the Red Devils' fourth-place standing: Lilly Keiling (20:33), Samantha Shimsky (20:35), Jamie Melillo (20:50) and Olivia Cicchetti (21:49).
