BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ -- The Somerset County Board of Heath reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, but no additional cases in Bernards Township.

There have been 4,002 confirmed coronavirus cases in Somerset County since the start of the pandemic, and 245 cases in Bernards Township.

Here is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 40; Bernardsville, 62; Bernards Township, 245; Branchburg, 80; Bridgewater, 456; Bound Brook, 305: Far Hills, 3; Franklin, 1,225; Green Brook, 126; Hillsborough, 348; Manville, 147; Millstone, 2; Montgomery, 108; North Plainfield, 309; Peapack-Gladstone, 39; Raritan, 109; Rocky Hill, 5; Somerville, 135; South Bound Brook, 59; Warren, 123; Watchung, 80. 

New Jersey has had 158,844 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1,029 new cases being reported on Friday, according to the state Department of Health. The seven-day average of new cases in the state, though, is 875, the lowest figure since testing began in March. The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Jersey, 2,707, is also the lowest in nearly two months.
