MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System, will host its 3rd Pet Therapy Conference: Dogs Serving Our Military and Our Community on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Hyatt Regency Morristown, 3 Speedwell Avenue in Morristown.

Jay Kopelman, retired Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps, and author of From Baghdad with Love, will serve as the keynote speaker.

In 2004, Marines entered an abandoned house in Fallujah, Iraq, and hearing a suspicious noise, they clenched their weapons, edged around the corner, and prepared to open fire. What they found was not an insurgent, but a puppy left behind when most of the city’s residents fled.
