Night Work on Sewer Mains on North Maple and Madisonville Road Scheduled for This Week

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - During the week starting on Monday, July 24, nighttime sewer work is scheduled to take place at two locations North Maple Avenue, between Birch Drive and Madisonville Road, and at two locations on Madisonville Road between North Maple Avenue and Harding Township, Bernards Township announced at the end of last week.

Work is scheduled for nighttime hours, to begin after the evening commute ends, the township said. North Maple Avenue and Madisonville Road will be fully opened during the day. 

The work on the sewer mains will involve "spot excavations" ofn the sewer force main, according to the township. In the immediate area of the excavation, the road will be reduced to one lane, the township said.

Sewer service to homes and businesses will be maintained, according to the township.
