BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Bernards Township Board of Education made a number of personnel changes at its June 4 meeting, including accepting the resignation Monday of Celina Garcia as a special education/PALS preschool teacher at Mount Prospect School.
Garcia's resignation is effective at the end of the school year. The board also appointed teachers Grace Campbell in the gifted & talented program at Liberty Corner School, Ashley Roberts as a special education/ABA teacher and Scott Farro as a math teacher, both at Ridge High School, for the next school year.
It also hired instructional aides Kyle Baach for William Annin Middle School and Nicole Carlin for Mount Prospect School, and appointed Noreen Kelly as an instructional aide at Cedar Hill School for the last month of the present school year.
The board approved child care leave for Meghan O’Donnell, a physical education teacher at the middle school, for the 2018-19 school year.
The board authorized Frank Scipione as plant engineer on a pro-rated basis for the last three weeks of the present year. He has been hired for the 2018-19 term at a salary of $97,000 per year.
