'Peter & the Starcatcher' to be Staged by Ridge Drama Club on Fri. and Sat., Nov. 17-18

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - "Peter and the Starcatcher" will be performed by the Ridge High School (RHS) Drama Club at 7 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18.  

Prequel to the Peter Pan story

The performance of a play that is a prequel to the Peter Pan story will be staged at the Ridge High School Performing Arts Center, 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.

Director Martha Harvey leads the cast of "lost kids" through magical adventures  - including pirates, island natives, and mermaids, all of them adorned in whimsical costumes. 

More than 50 students are involved. The lighting, sound and stage crews provide an elaborate backdrop to the performance, directed by Dallas Harvey and Jason Stewart. Stewart and his stage crew received the 2017 Papermill Playhouse Rising Star Award for Outstanding Scenic Achievement. 

General admission tickets are $10 for students, $12 for adults, and $20 for onstage interactive seating,
