BERNARDS TWP., NJ - It may be chilly this week, but it won't be long until Pleasant Valley Pool reopens for the season at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge. Memberships are still available for both residents and non-residents of Bernards Township, according to the township website.
The pool is scheduled to open at 11 a.m. on May 28, the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. The hours for Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the Bernards Township Parks & Recreation Department.
The season will continue until Labor Day, Sept. 5, at the municipal pool at Pleasant Valley Park, located off Valley Road in Basking Ridge.
Part-time hours will be in effect from May 31 to June 20, when township school lets out. Those hours will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
As of June 21, full-time hours of 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily will begin.

Because the early rate special has expired, cost of membership for the season is $495 for a resident township family, and $750 for a non-resident family membership.
