BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - On Thursday morning in the back conference room in the Grain House, Glenn Redgate, manager of the Postal Annex+ in Dewy Meadows plaza in Basking Ridge, shared a lot more than his business card with the members of Bernards Area Networking Group (BANG). BANG is a group of business owners that meet for breakfast every other week at Basking Ridge restaurant, The Grain House, in the Old Mill Inn.

Redgate’s group membership in BANG allowed him to speak for 15 minutes about the local business which he manages, Postal Annex+. He began by sharing the rousing history of the founder, Jack Lentz, who came out of retirement when he realized the need to offer mailing, faxing, copying, shipping and other services conveniently beneath a single roof. As a result of his accurate intuition, Lentz created the first Postal Annex+ store, located next door to a post office in the University City neighborhood of San Diego. Today, there are more than 400 Postal Annex+ stores throughout the United States and Canada.

Redgate went on to explain that Postal Annex+ is a one-stop business services convenience store, offering easy and fast solutions to needs such as package shipping, shipping rate comparisons among UPS, FedEx, DHL and the U.S. Postal Service, document notarizations, presentation copies, private mailbox rentals, faxing and much more – and most importantly, all offered conveniently beneath a single roof.
