The flags, which are purchased by individuals, are tagged with personal messages, honoring loved ones and those who have served our country. [One of the flags is dedicated to the late-Malcolm Forbes]

The event is sponsored by Trump National Golf Club, Investors Bank, Far Hills Pharmacy, Ferriero Engineering, and Lighting Elysium, and will benefit VetRest, a non-profit organization helping veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS).

The Friends of the Jacobus [pronounced Ja-KO-bus] Vanderveer House share a deep bond with our nation’s veterans that spans 245 years.

It was here, in the winter of 1778-79, that General Henry Knox made the Vanderveer House his home while he commanded the nation’s first military training academy on a hillside less than a mile away. That history adds to making the Vanderveer House a very fitting venue for a Field of Honor®, benefiting the nation’s veterans, past and present.
