BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Ridge football team, which had a game canceled at the 11th hour last Friday, has added a game to its schedule for Wednesday night.

On Thanksgiving Eve, the Red Devils will host Livingston High School in a game that will kick off at 5 p.m.

State mandates have reduced the outdoor gathering capacity from 500 people to 150 people this week. Last Friday, Ridge was scheduled to play at home against South Brunswick, but because of COVID-19 cases within the South Brunswick district, that game was called off Friday afternoon.

Ridge will enter its final game with a 5-2 record. Livingston, which has had two different COVID interruptions in its season, has played only four games, and has a 1-3 record.
