BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Ridge baseball team remained undefeated with its fourth one-run victory in seven games this season when the Red Devils beat Voorhees in the bottom of the seventh inning, 5-4, at TD Bank Ballpark Saturday night.

Chris Seebode led off the bottom of the seventh with a double, then took third on a sacrifice bunt by Ryan Gogerty. Sean Spina followed with a sacrifice fly that scored Seebode to snap the 4-4 tie.

Spina also had an RBI single in the game, which Ridge (7-0) led, 4-2, before Voorhees (6-3) tied it with two runs in the sixth inning. Andrew Lusardi had two doubles and two RBI in the game, and Anthony Roti went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Pitchers Joe Covello and Justin Pavlik each allowed two runs in three innings, and Joe Ruggiero pitched one perfect inning and struck out a batter.

Ridge, whose last three victories have each come by a single run, will face its biggest test of the season Monday afternoon when heavy-hitting Immaculata (7-1) comes to Pete Hall Field for a 3:45 p.m. game. Immaculata has scored nine runs or more in six of its eight games. In the upcoming Somerset County Tournament, Ridge has been seeded first and Immaculata third. Ridge won't play a county tournament game until April 28.
