BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Somerset County Tournament baseball quarterfinal matchup between sixth-seeded Ridge and third-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan has been shifted from Saturday to Sunday, and moved from Bridgewater to the turf field at North Plainfield.
First pitch is schedule for 3 p.m. at the field on Route 22 East.
Ridge (7-10) defeated Gill-St. Bernard's, 7-6, overcoming an early four-run deficit, in the first round. Bridgewater-Raritan (8-8) received a bye into the quarterfinals.
The two teams have split a pair of regular season conference games this season, with Bridgewater-Raritan winning, 3-1, and Ridge winning, 10-7.
