BASKING RIDGE, NJ - After playing its first four games on the road, the Ridge football team finally had its home opener Friday night.

But Westfield spoiled the party by delivering a 37-13 setback to the Red Devils. Westfield extended its record to 4-0.

Kermit Hoffman scored two touchdowns in the first half, which ended with Westfield leading, 21-13. Hoffman;s 56-yard TD in the first quarter gave Ridge (3-2) an early 7-0 lead. He also scored from a yard out in the second quarter.
