BASKING RIDGE, NJ - A total of five seniors from Ridge High School's undefeated state championship girls soccer team will be continuing their soccer careers in college, including three who signed National Letters of Intent with Division 1 schools.
Erin Convery, Shannon Keefe and Chrissy Weyrauch all will be playing collegiate soccer within close proximity to each other in Massachusetts. Convery, a High School All-American defender, will attend Boston College; Keefe, who played both up front and in the back, will be at Boston University; and Weyrauch, a combination midfielder/forward, is headed to Holy Cross in nearby Worcester to join her sister, 2014 graduate Alex Weyrauch, who will be a sophomore eligible next fall after sitting out the 2015 season recovering from knee surgery.
Convery, Keefe and Weyrauch all signed their National Letters of Intent this week.
Additionally, Brielle Farrell will be attending Gettysburg College and goalie Samantha Carney will enroll at The College of New Jersey. Both of them will also continue to play soccer.
Ridge was 24-0-1 in 2015, winning the Somerset County Tournament, the Skyland Conference and a share of the NJSIAA state Group 4 championship.
