NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Ridge High School girls ran a time of 9:01.64 in the 4x800 to win the national title Saturday night at New Balance Nationals Indoors.

Meghan Convery (2:15.44), Catherine Giuseffi (2:16.50), Kaitlyn Van Baalen (2:17.19) and Brooke Fazio (2:12.51) set the pace for the Red Devils, the fourth New Jersey team to win the 4x800 national title in the past nine years.

The same foursome won the first 4×800 at the NJSIAA Indoor Meet of Champions last month, when they ran a full 20 seconds ahead of the second place team to set a venue record while running a 9:14.47.
