Ridge Lands Five Baseball Players on All-Skyland Conference First Team

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Five players from the Ridge varsity baseball team have received first-team recognition on the All-Skyland Conference Raritan Division team announced this week.

Junior pitcher James Crowley, senior outfielder Tim Huxen, junior second baseman Anthony Roti, senior outfielder Matt Rusiniak and senior third baseman Jack Peacock all made first team representing the Red Devils, who tied for the division championship in 2017.

Crowley finished with a 5-1 record on the mound that included a two-hit performance with 11 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings against Phillipsburg in May. He will return as Ridge's most accomplished pitcher for the 2018 season.

Shortstop/pitcher Devin Stieglitz received second-team honors from the conference.
