BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Ridge ice hockey team erupted for six goals in the first period and went on to a 7-2 victory over Madison on Friday at Bridgewater Sports Arena.
Gary Prince scored three goals and had an assist for Ridge (10-1-2). After Vanny Charleson and Marc DelGaizo scored early to give the Red Devils a 2-0 lead, Prince tallied the next three goals in a row.
Rich McKenna scored with 3:35 left to cap the first-period onslaught. Alex Konovalov added a goal in the third period for the Red Devils. John Vilade and Ted Kapp each had two assists in the victory.
