Ridge Varsity Baseball Shuts Out Pingry

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - On Wednesday, April 29, Ridge Red Devils baseball defeated Pingry with a score of 10-0. The "mercy rule" ended the game after five innings.
Ridge pitcher Dylan Crowley pitched a no-hitter from the mound during the home game.  He completed the game with only 69 pitches.

Red Devil Connor Scherzer hit a 2-run homerun.

The win, the third this week for the team, raised Ridge's record to 9-3-1. 

The mercy rule ends the game after one team has built a 10-run lead and at least 5 innings have been played.

The Ridge team next faces Bridgewater-Raritan at home at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, April 30. Ridge High School is at 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.
