BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Labor Day Bicycle Races, presented by Liberty Cycle and Bernards Township, are a community favorite, as they feature exciting professional races in the streets of Basking Ridge, along with the outrageously popular bike races for children. This is an event with a pedigree and a following.
Curbing Hunger Inc. is holding its second annual One Mile Foot Race during the Bicycle Race program, on the same flat, fast course that the bikes ride on. The race will take off during one of the most exciting parts of the day, approximately 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, as people are cheering on the pros and getting ready to see their children take the starting line for their bike race.
