Sky Blue FC Supports Drive for Autism Foundation


PISCATAWAY, NJ - Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League is helping in the fight against Autism. A portion of all ticket sales for their July 9, 2016 match will be donated to the Drive for Autism Foundation of New Providence, NJ.  

Sky Blue will take on Rutgers alum Carli Lloyd and the Houston Dash at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ. Kickoff is 7pm. Tickets are $20. Come join us for a great night of wome’s professional soccer and support a great local charity.

Sky Blue FC ( was established in the fall of 2006, Sky Blue Soccer made its debut on the field with the launch of Jersey Sky Blue in the W-League of the United Soccer Leagues in 2007. Sky Blue Soccer operated Jersey Sky Blue for two successful seasons before creating a partnership with Quickstrike FC of New York which included the transfer of the W-League franchise to that club.

Sky Blue FC was a member of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) for all three seasons, beginning in 2009 with the launch of WPS.  Sky Blue FC won the inaugural WPS Championship.  Sky Blue FC is a founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), which began play in 2013.

Sky Blue Soccer is committed to its local community and is proud to support various charitable organizations and programs.

The Drive for Autism Foundation(  is a NJ public charitable foundation that was established in 2002  to raise funds and distribute them to schools and non profit organizations committed to the education and treatment of individuals with diagnosis’ under the Autism spectrum. We have concentrated our fundraising events and our grant recipients to two locals; Staten Island and NJ NJ (Union/Morris/Somerset/Essex/Bergen Counties). The foundation is recognized as a 501(3) (C) tax exempt organization (20-1760417).
