Snow Doesn't Stop Dog Walks at Lord Stirling Park

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Saturday Dog Walks are now running on the later fall/winter schedule on the trails at Lord Stirling Park at the Somerset County Park Commission's Lord Stirling Stable at 256 S. Maple Ave. The Friends of Lord Stirling Stable host the weekly event on the stable grounds in Basking Ridge.

The walks for canines and their human friends will continue through snow and cold weather.

Check-in time for owners and their pets now will begin every Saturday at 10:15 a.m. The guided trail walk will begin at 10:30 a.m.. and last for approximately one hour.

Registration is $3 per dog and all pets must be leashed and kept under control at all times. These sanctioned Dog Walks offer participants the only opportunity to explore the beautiful equestrian trails of Lord Stirling Stable on foot.
