Basking Ridge, NJ, March 25, 2016 – Over 100 residents welcomed spring at Somerset Hills YMCA’s Holi festival of colors on March 23, 2016. Holi is a traditional Hindu festival to celebrate the beginning of spring with its abundant colors and vibrant life. Using colorful Gulal powder and water, participants painted themselves with the colors of the season while they enjoyed spring-like weather in the backyard of Somerset Hills YMCA.

The festival was organized by the Y’s cultural engagement committee, to ensure that everyone in our increasingly diverse community feels connected and welcome at the Y.
