Rain soaked the field in the second half but that didn't affect the intensity of this action-packed contest.

In the 16th minute, junior Alan Frank served a corner right to left across field to senior Connor Daly who headed the corner into the box where junior James Cummins finished with a score. That was the only score in the match.

It was the Spartans' 9th shutout of the season in 11 victories.

Immaculata will now face Moorestown Friends, who defeated Gill St. Bernards by a score of 4-2 to advance to the finals.

The Spartans will travel to to Washington Township in Gloucester County for the Thursday, Nov. 9 game. Kick off time for the sectional championship is 7:30 pm.
