SOMERVILLE, NJ – The “Shop ‘til You Drop Resale Extravaganza” on April 21st is meant to draw attention to the borough’s  burgeoning network of antiques, collectibles and consignment shops.

Nine stores will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., each offering discounts and prizes for those looking for truly unique, one-of-a-kind items at affordable prices.

Participating stores include Back Home Again, 93 West Main St.; Elysium Antiques, 25 West Main St.; Gallery on Main, 30 West Main St.,; Good As New, 136 East Main St.;

Incogneeto Vintage, 30 Division St.; New Start Consignments, 26 West Main St.; Revive Consignment, 30 South Doughty St.; Thrifts & Gifts, 31 West Main St., and TNT Antiques & Collectibles, 23 Division St.

Two of the stores are operated by non-profit agencies:

Good As New is a nonprofit resale shop, with all proceeds benefitting Zufall Health Center, formerly the Women's Health & Counseling Center. The store is staffed by volunteers.

Thrifts and Gifts is the retail store used as part of the Central School’s  work readiness transition program for 18-21 year olds. All proceeds help fund the school’s programs.
