BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Those of us who predate smartphones and personal computing devices always know where to turn if we can't figure out this newfangled technology: We ask someone younger.

Teen volunteers at the Bernards Township Library are available for longer hours during the summer to provide one-on-one technical assistance for those who might need a little insight into how to use their tech gear.

With teens off from school, the library has extended summer hours when technical help is available from the teens to 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. (The library is closed on Sunday during the summer.)

Those asking for assistance are asked to bring their own laptop, device or gadget, or to use one of the library's computers.

To set up an appointment with the Tech Teen volunteers, call or email Teen Librarian, Karen Andriolo, at 908-204-303, ext. 4, or contact her at kandriolo@bernards.org. Those seeking help can also just drop in during scheduled hours.
