Thanks to Our Friends and local businesses

Dear Editor,

The Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 & EMS would like to extend our gracious thanks to the friends and our community that supported our recent pancake breakfast event on June 4.

The success of this crucial fundraiser would not have been possible without the generous donation of provisions for the breakfast from the following local businesses: Brush's Delicatessen, Copper Kettle Deli, Somerset Hills Exxon, Grain House Restaurant, Bernardsville Kings, Mockingbird Café, Ridge Bagel & Café, The Ridge Restaurant & Pizzeria, Shop Rite of Bernardsville, Stop & Shop, Vine, and Washington House Restaurant.

A special thanks goes to Somerset Hills Exxon for offering to cover the cost for all children 12 and younger. Families took note, resulting in a substantial increase in attendees this year. To top it off, owner Rich DiLorenzo made an extra cash donation and this event was one of our most successful pancake breakfasts!

Thanks again to all of our local business partners and our committee for your continued support of the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1.
