Three Ridge Baseball Teams Sweep P'Burg in Tuesday Victories

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ridge Varsity Baseball scored another victory on Tuesday, May 5, with a 10-6 win over Phillipsburg on the team's home field.

Ridge right fielder Bobby Moskow (pictured) hit a single in the 3rd inning, bringing in center fielder Liam McArthur for the go ahead run 2-1. Later, in the 4th inning, Moskow hit a grand slam home run over the right field fence to make the score 8-1. That was Moskow's third home run for the season. 

In the 6th inning, Pete Matarazzo hit a solo home run.

Ridge's team record is now 10-6-1. 

Next up, away game at Hillsborough

The team next faces Hillsborough away on Wednesday, May 6.  On Thursday, May 7, Ridge will play Morristown at 4 p.m. at Ridge Varsity Field at home. Ridge High School is at 268 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge.

The Ridge JV boys baseball team and freshmen baseball team also beat Phillipsburg for a sweep win on Tuesday.
