GLADSTONE, N.J. — On Friday, Jan. 19, the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation will be hosting a benefit event at the International Polo Club in Wellington, Fla.

The "Triumph in Tryon" gala, co-chaired by Jim and Haity McNerney, will help raise funds for the USET Foundation to further support the USET athletes as they prepare to compete at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Mill Spring, North Carolina, at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. This year's event will feature fabulous live auction items, with all proceeds going to the U.S. teams competing at WEG.

One of the auction items that is sure to be in high demand are two box tickets to any performance of Springsteen on Broadway now through June 2018, generously donated by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa. The package also includes a backstage meet-and-greet with "The Boss" himself and goody bags containing a signed copy of Springsteen's autobiography, Born to Run, as well as a hoodie, shirt and mug. Tickets to Springsteen on Broadway are sold out and nearly impossible to get.

Another highly sought-after item will be a summer getaway to the "Thistle House" in the Village of Edgartown in Martha's Vineyard, donated by Mr. and Mrs. William H. Weeks. A total of 14 guests can enjoy a one-week stay in an exquisite, English country, luxury summer home in the heart of Edgartown with a pool and immaculately manicured grounds. The location also offers an easy stroll to dinner on the harbor or to Fuller Beach. The in-ground pool is worthy of a boutique hotel and features a separate guest apartment. This beautiful home has seven bedrooms and six and a half baths and is beautifully furnished throughout. Spend the summer in style in one of Edgartown's finest estates.

During this celebratory evening, guests will enjoy cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. followed by the live auction and dancing. The event will also include the presentation of three of the USET Foundation's most coveted awards: the prestigious Lionel Guerrand-Hermès Trophy, the Whitney Stone Cup and the R. Bruce Duchossois Distinguished Trustee Award.

Tables and reserved seating are on a first come, first serve basis. When making your table reservation, please indicate the names of your table guests.
