Waiting for Snow: Bernards Township's Snowperson Contest Eligibility Begins New Year's Day

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Don't count on having your entry on New Year's Day, 2017, but the Bernards Township Snowman (or snowwoman) contest is back for this year, and officially begins on Jan. 1.

The township is asking young residents to send in a photo of a snow character built within the township from between Jan.1 to March 31, 2017 for a chance to win the township's annual contest.

Winners’ photographs will be posted on and printed in a future township publication, according to the township.

Contestants are asked to email photos of their snow creation that also include the full family name of entrant(s), age(s), address, phone number and the date/place of snowman to Chris Zimmerman (

Photos must be received by 4:30 p.m. on March 31, 2017.
