Wharton Way and Part of Atlas Road Due to Close Monday for Paving

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Weather dependent, Wharton Way and the remainder of Atlas Road (between Wharton Way & Quincy Road) will be closed for paving from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday Oct. 23, the township announced.

Work is due to begin on Wharton Way at Lyons Road, and then proceed toward Atlas. The next stretch of paving will then proceed on Atlas toward Quincy Road, the announcement said. 

All on-street parking is prohibited during these times. The road will be closed and access restricted.

A tar-like coating will be applied before paving; this can damage vehicles, according to the township.

Residents are asked to make alternate parking arrangements.  All restoration will be completed after paving, according to the township.
