BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Renee Bickar, a special education teacher at William Annin Middle School, gave her retirement notice to the Bernards Township Board of Education on Jan. 27. It is effective March 31.

The board also accepted the resignations of Ridge High school psychologist Ashley Harris, as of March 13, and of Cedar Hill School aide Brenna Moore, effective Feb. 21.

The board hired Angela DiPetta to teach Grade 2 at Mount Prospect School, starting Feb. 21, and Gabriella Dobkin as a physics teacher at Ridge High School, effective Feb. 3, both to the end of the school year.

Child care leaves were approved for Courtney Gluck, an instructional aide at Ridge High School, from March 30 to Sept. 30, and Jamie Sutton, a counselor at William Annin Middle School, from April 27 and returning Nov. 10.

It also appointed Danielle Schepis as a part-time district information technology specialist for the rest of the school year.

On Jan. 6 the board appointed Samantha DeSanto as an instructional aide at William Annin Middle School for the remainder of the school year.
