UNION, NJ - Union's Justin Beckett rushed for three touchdowns to steer Union to a 21-13 football victory over Basking Ridge on Friday night.

Ridge (5-3) never led in the game, surrendering an early TD and extra point before Kermit Hoffman scored on an 18-yard TD reception from Duncan Roberts in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 7-6. The point after was no good.

Beckett scored on two short TD runs in the second quarter as Union (4-4) built a 21-6 lead. Dan Skea's 14-yard TD run in the third quarter got the Red Devils closer, but neither team scored in the final period.
