In the Room Where It Happened: An Evening With Ron Chernow


Morristown Festival of Books, New Jersey's premier literary event, presents its fourth book festival this fall, Friday, October 13 - Saturday, October 14.

It begins with a ticketed keynote address by Ron Chernow, author of Hamilton, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South St.

Saturday's main festival sessions are free and feature over 40 award-winning authors at venues within walking distance of each other. The new author lineup, including such names as Chris Whipple, Alice Hoffman, David Grann, and Tess Gerritsen, has just been announced, so check the festival website to see who’s coming to Morristown!

Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts Summer Camp Open House Friday, June 1

BERKELEY HEIGHTS—Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts (WIPA) will host a Summer Open House on Friday, June 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will be held at the Performing Arts School located at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The open house will feature demo classes centered around summer camp offerings and light refreshments will be served.
