Blood & Platelet Drive

There will be a Blood & Platelet Drive for Mental Health Awareness Jan. 21 through Jan. 24, beginning at 8 a.m., at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.

Heroes for Moms has teamed with the hospital to hold the drive. Donors are being asked to stand in solidarity with the movement and mothers who needed blood to survive childbirth by donating themselves.

The drive will be held until 7 p.m. the first three days, and until 5 p.m. on the last day.

Donors are advised to eat before donating and bring a valid photo ID. Walk-ins are welcome, but please call the donor center before arrival to ensure it is open.
