Pints for A Purpose

The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation is hosting its first Pints for A Purpose fundraising event to support two local veterans organizations.

The proceeds will support:

  • Operation Chillout, an all-volunteer outreach organization that supports homeless veterans in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania
  • Operation Sisterhood, local to Morristown, an organization that provides services to female veterans and their families

The first 75 attendees to register will receive a free custom event pint glass!

All who register for the event receive their first beer or soda for free, to be redeemed with a voucher at the event. 

Revolution has 40 beers on tap from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The event will be during Happy Hour from 5-8 PM with discounts on locally-brewed beer.

Piscataway Man Identified in Pedestrian Fatality on I-287 in Bridgewater Wednesday

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway man was identified as the tow truck operator killed when he was struck by another vehicle on I-287 in Bridgewater Wednesday afternoon, according to NJ State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele.

Nicholas Coble, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a vehicle while clearing another car from the roadway at 1:44 p.m.
