BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Township residents age 16 and older, now have until Friday, March 6, to register to exhibit up to five pieces in the annual Community Art Show that will be on display at the Somerset County Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge, according to the Bernards Township Parks and Recreation department.
Artists are encouraged to select pieces with the theme of "inspired by nature," although artists are not required to confine themselves to that subject.
The entry fee for the non-juried show is $20 entry fee per artist. Space is limited.

The artists and their friends and families are invited to a public opening reception scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 21 for the announcement of the 2020 Mayor’s Arts Awards.
The exhibit is scheduled to be on display daily between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 21 through April 19 at the Somerset County Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge. The EEC will be closed on April 10 and 12.
Artists may list up to five pieces for display, according to the website. Artwork previously entered may not be submitted.
Artwork can include, but is not limited to, watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pastels, drawings, mixed media, and sculpture.
Artwork must be dropped off at the EEC on Friday, March 20 between the hours of 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., or from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Artwork must be picked up at the EEC on Monday, April 20 between the hours of 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., or from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Artists may indicate their artwork is for sale on the entry form, and contact information will be passed along to visitors who might be interesting in purchasing pieces.
The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to reject artwork for any reason.
