BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Bernards Township Board of Education made several personnel moves for Mount Prospect Elementary School at its Sept. 9 meeting.

Jennifer Venturi was hired as a Grade 5 leave-replacement teacher at the school, and the board hired three instructional aides: Sydney Lynn (through Sept. 30), Christine Schoenfeld (through Dec. 2) and Desiree Sommerville (for the school year).

The board also approved child care leaves for special education teacher Kaitlin Iampaglia (from Nov. 4 and returning April 6) and learning disabilities teaching consultant Monica Valencia (until September 2020), both at Mount Prospect.

Also appointed were instructional aides Kelly Dennis for Liberty Corner School, Jennifer Richardson for Ridge High School and Christine Cancillieri and Anne Pinto (through Nov. 26) for Cedar Hill School.

In temporary replacements the board hired Phyllis Bresner as a district-wide learning disabilities teaching consultant, Sharon Cerchiaro as a special education and English teacher at Ridge High School through Oct. 31 and Jennifer Potts as a special education teacher for William Annin Middle School (until Nov. 13).

The resignation of Amanda Fortus as an accountant in the business office was accepted.
