I encourage all voters in Bernards Township to elect Janice Fields to serve with me on the Bernards Township Committee.

Actions speak louder than any dogmatic political rhetoric.  And Janice's actions speak volumes.  She is the only candidate who has decades of demonstrated commitment and leadership in our community.

She has advocated for women by serving on the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women where she spearheads such programs as "A Woman's Story", where professional women from a variety of cultural backgrounds share their experiences as immigrants to the United States.  Janice leads the panel that selects the recipients of the "Outstanding Women of Somerset County Award" which annually recognizes nine Somerset County residents for their contributions to their communities, and she is part of the team that organizes the subsidy of a STEM program for girls.

Additionally, she is a past member of the board of the Somerset County Office on Aging. In Bernards, she was an active member of the Bernards Township Beautification and Dewey Meadow Task Forces, the Society Hill Condominium Community Board and Cell Phone Tower Task Force.  She has been a class mother at Liberty Corner School where her sons attended, and she has served as a Bernards Township Girl Scout Leader.  In 2016 she founded and still organizes the Bernards Township First Responders Appreciation Night.

Last year, when I was contemplating my run for office, I sought Janice's counsel, and she provided me with the most honest and sincere advice one could give... she simply stated, "follow your heart and do what is best fo Bernards Township."  I often sought her counsel throughout my campaign and again she provided me with heartfelt advice, "I know you are seeking to serve for the right reasons, just be yourself and you will have the people's support."

"Community First" is Janice's campaign slogan, and she has certainly exemplified that by leading by example.  She, like the advice she gave me, follows her heart and does what is best for her community.

Please join me on November 5th by voting for Janice Fields.
